About Molly
Molly Evans is a 24 year old Irish international 4* event rider who is a rising star in the equestrian world. From a young age Molly competed for East Down Pony Club, before buying Wellan Graffitti as a 5 year old in 2016. Over the last 8 years Molly has produced Wellan Graffiti up the levels, recently completing Bramham CCI 4* Long in the Under 25s section to finish in 6th place. The combination were also one of the youngest to be long listed for the Irish Olympic Eventing Team in 2024. Often complimented on her kindness and sportsmanship, Molly is committed to being the best of international eventing, supporting others and finding joy in her love for horses.
Molly is well renowned for her resilience. As a result of an anaphylactic shock at 19 causing sepsis, Molly was in intensive care for 10 days and experienced ovarian failure leading to early and irreversible menopause. Following 18 months of investigations, it was discovered that the treatment and symtoms of menopause had affected Molly’s bone density which resulted in pelvic breaks on three occassions. Not only has Molly refused to let her health hold her back, but she has reached new heights with success at the 4* level and the step up to 5* imminent.
At home, Molly is committed to ensuring the longevity of the sport, coaching riders at all levels and producing young horses.
